South Korean companies LG Chem and Dansuk Industrial have signed a heads of agreement to build South Korea's first biofuel plant producing hydro-treated vegetable oil suitable for aviation and other vehicle purposes. Hong Kong's Greater Bay Airlines (GBA) has contracted U.S.-based Burrana to supply systems for in-seat cabin power delivered via USB for its 737-800 fleet.

The first test aircraft of the CRAIC CR929, a joint venture between the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China and Russia's United Aircraft Corporation is expected to begin construction later this year after both parties reached agreement on the design details of the wide-body aircraft, local media reported.

Embraer's E190-E2 aircraft completed its first commercial flight into London City Airport when Helvetic Airways flight LX456 arrived from Zurich on September 2. The Swiss regional airline flight highlighted the aircraft's capabilities at the close-in airport, which has a 1,508m runway and a descent angle of 5.5 degrees.
