HAECO Group subsidiary, HAECO Americas, has signed an agreement with 321 Precision Conversions to provide heavy maintenance and structural modifications for A321 passenger-to-freighter conversions. Work will commence in January 2022 at the HAECO Americas' Florida facility. Read More »

Brisbane Airport Corporation has named Simon Dodd as head of aviation development. Dodd, whose previous roles have included Accor vice president of loyalty partnerships and American Airlines general manager for Australia and New Zealand sales, starts with the company in October.

U.S. headquartered Sabre Inc. has signed a partnership agreement with Biman Bangladesh Airlines. The Bangladeshi carrier will use the company's SabreSonic passenger service system (PSS) and global distribution system (GDS), among other products.

Air travel technology company, SITA, has received its CarbonNeutral company certification a year ahead of its 2022 target.

Satellite company, Inmarsat, has launched the Velaris product to provide secure communications for commercial unmanned aerial vehicles, also known as drones, to fly beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) and seamlessly integrate with aircraft in commercial airspace.
