Garuda Indonesia to undertake restructuring under UK court supervision: report

Five A330neo will remain with the Indonesian flag carrier with orders for 13 more of the type to be renegotiated or cancelled. For the narrow-body fleet, Cirium said Garuda would continue to operate 737-800s and its Citilink subsidiary would continue to operate A320 family aircraft. The company hoped to withdraw all 737-300 and 737-500 aircraft and renegotiate or cancel orders for 49 737 MAXs and 25 A320neo. All 18 CRJ1000s will leave the fleet but some ATR 72-600 turboprops will be retained, Cirium said.
