All Nippon Airways helps passengers shrink the COVID paunch with new meal menu

All Nippon Airways (ANA) is introducing a range of diabetic, low-fat, low-calorie and low-salt meals on international flights from October 1. Read More » An expanded menu features four dishes created with the help of ANA’s culinary partners, known as “The Connoisseurs”. Award-winning French-trained chef, Hideki Takayama, helped craft the menu in conjunction with The Japan Association for Diabetes Education and Care to make sure it met stringent requirements. “Our inflight menus are constantly updated as we introduce items based on passenger feedback and demand,” said ANA senior vice president customer experience management and planning, Junko Yazawa. “As we develop our inflight dining options, we aim to ensure delicious and satisfying meals are available to all passengers, regardless of their dietary habits. The need to offer healthy alternatives to traditional meals is growing and we are proud to partner with world-class chefs to create rich menus that offer excellent choices to all passengers.”
