ExecuJet MRO Services president, Graeme Duckworth, has identified Malaysia and Dubai as key growth areas as the company celebrates its 30th anniversary. Duckworth said ExecuJet, now part of the Dassault group, planned to build a new, purpose-built MRO facility in Malaysia and was developing another facility in Dubai that was due to open in the first half of next year. China’s Air Travel and CFM International have signed a 12-year LEAP-1A engine Rate per Flight Hour (RPFH) agreement to support future Airbus A320neo aircraft. The agreement, which includes the purchase of LEAP-1A spare engines, is valued at US$992 million at list prices. Changsha-based Air Travel operates a fleet of 16 Airbus A320.
