Read More » The sunset orange, turtle-themed aircraft was delivered to the airline on October 16 and will join its sister aircraft on services to Hawaii. Configured to seat 520 passengers, ANA A380s feature eight first class, 56 business class and 73 premium economy seats on the upper deck and 383 economy seats, including 60 couch seats, on the main deck. All three A380s are committed to the Tokyo-Honolulu run with the first sporting a sky blue turtle livery and the second an ocean-inspired emerald green. Earlier this month, the Japanese carrier became the world’s first airline to be approved for mixed fleet flying (MFF) of A380s and A320s. Approval of the mixed fleet operations by Japan’s Civil Aviation Bureau means ANA pilots can switch between short-haul A320 routes and long-haul A380 operations.
