Korean Air to resume flights to Hawaii after 19-month suspension

A Korean Air (KAL) scheduled service will head to Hawaii on November 3 for the first time since early April 2020. Read More » KAL said it had decided to resume the Hawaiian route because the number of Korean tourists visiting the holiday destination had grown from 200 a month in January to 1,000 per month recently. The Incheon-Honolulu service (KE053) will operate three days a week, departing from Incheon International Airport every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 8:35pm and arriving at Honolulu at 10:00am. The return flight (KE054) will operate every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, departing Honolulu at 11:40am. Before the pandemic, KAL operated two daily flights between Incheon and Hawaii.
