Vietnam regulator proposes increasing domestic capacity

The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) has proposed lifting the number of domestic flights and again to allow airlines to offer on board service beyond the supply of drinking water. Read More » The CAAV said in a statement it had written to the Ministry of Transport to suggest raising the number of Hanoi-Ho Chi Minh City-Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City-Da Nang flights from 16 round trips a day during the period December 1 to December 10 (representing 22% of 2020 levels), to 34% by the December 11 to December 20 time frame, and 70% until the end of February 2022. For March next year, frequencies are planned to be back to "normal levels". For other domestic routes, the CAAV proposed returning to normal levels from December 21 this year.
