Virgin Australia orders compulsory vaccinations for international passengers

Virgin Australia (VA) has introduced a vaccination requirement for travellers on its international routes, effective immediately. Read More » VA requires all passengers flying internationally on VA must be fully inoculated against COVID-19 and with a vaccine approved by Australia's Therapeutic Goods Administration. Those under 12 years of age at the time of departure will be exempt as will those who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons. An Australian child aged between 12 and 17 at the time of departure who was unvaccinated or partially vaccinated could travel on a VA international flight as long as they were entering Australia through New South Wales, Victoria or the Australian Capital Territory and traveling with their fully vaccinated parents or guardians.
