China Airlines joins A321neo club

Taiwan-headquartered China Airlines (CAL) has taken delivery of its first A321neo. Read More » The aircraft, registration B-18101 and powered by Pratt & Whitney PW1133G-JM engines, arrived in the fleet on lease from Air Lease Corporation.
CAL has configured the narrow-body with 12 fully-flat seats in business class and 168 in economy. Passengers will have access to the internet via Wi-Fi and be offered free text messaging with seven apps. The flag carrier said the A321neo was expected to provide between 10% and 20% more cargo capacity and "be a valuable boost to China Airlines’ current emphasis on cargo operations". The SkyTeam alliance member has 25 A321neo on order.
