Cebu Pacific receives first A330-900

Philippines LCC, Cebu Pacific, has accepted delivery of the first of 16 A330neo wide-bodies it has on order. Read More » The inaugural aircraft, an A330-900 with registration RP-C3900 and powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines, was delivered via lessor Avolon. Cebu Pacific, an existing A330-300 operator, has squeezed 459 seats from Recaro into its A330-900s in a single class layout. “Cebu Pacific’s first A330neo brings us closer to our target of having an all-neo fleet by 2027. It shows our commitment to making air travel accessible while ensuring environmental and social sustainability,” Cebu Pacific chief strategy officer, Alex Reyes, said. Avolon said it will deliver eight A330-900s to Cebu Pacific by the second quarter of 2024.
