The Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) and CAPA - Centre for Aviation have announced a partnership whereby CAPA's interiors and fleet database, which comprises information on 4.5 million seats, 43,000 commercial aircraft, and IFE, and IFC OEMs, will serve as APEX's official aircraft interiors database. The two-day HKIA Virtual Job Fair 2021 hosted by Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) and Hong Kong's Labour Department officially kicked off yesterday, featuring more than 1,000 job openings at 30 companies across the airport community.

Kuala Lumpur's new Air Traffic Control Centre (KL ATCC), located at Sepang, will enable Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and klia2 to handle 108 aircraft movements an hour, up from the current 84 movements, as well as shortening aircraft landing times and save fuel, Malaysia Transport Minister, Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong, said at the opening of the new facility earlier this week, local media reported. The old KL ATCC was located at Subang.

Distance learning aviation training company, CPaT Global, has signed a new contract with LCC, Eastar Jet, to provide aircraft systems on its 737 classics, NG and Max fleet.
