Thai Airways International (THAI) has reopened the Royal Orchid Prestige Lounge at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport to serve increasing passenger numbers following the country’s reopening of its international border. Read More » The Ecology Green Mood concept lounge serves Thai’s Royal First and Royal Silk Class passengers, as well as Royal Orchid Platinum and Gold members and Star Alliance Gold Members. It is open daily from 5:00 am to 02:00 am. THAI has implemented “the highest level of COVID-19 preventative measures”, including gloves for passengers and individually packaged bakery items and pastries. “THAI Royal Orchid Lounge is thoroughly sprayed with disinfectant to maintain the highest level of health and hygiene standards,’’ the airline said. The lounge was re-opened by the airline’s acting CEO, Suvadhana Sibunruang.
