Rolls-Royce’s hybrid-electric aero power and propulsion system, Power Generation System 1 (PGS1), reached more than a megawatt of power at the company’s newly renovated Test bed 108 in Bristol, UK. Read More » Testing of the demonstrator, aimed at proving technology for future hybrid-electric regional aircraft, is continuing with the aim of reaching up to 2.5 megawatts.

BAA Training Vietnam and Bamboo Airways have signed a long-term agreement, until 2026, to utilise the training centre’s full flight simulator for A320 and E-190 jet training.

The board of Australian airline, Alliance Aviation Services, has approved construction of an aircraft maintenance facility at Rockhampton Airport to support a fleet of 74 Embraer and Fokker aircraft. Completion of the US$42.8 million facility is scheduled for November 2022.
