EVA Air passenger numbers slip slightly in November

EVA Air's monthly traffic report showed the Taiwanese carrier flew 19,030 passengers in November, a 3.5% month-on-month decline from 19,719 in October. Read More » The November result also was less than half the 38,344 passengers flown in the same month in 2020. The Star Alliance member recorded passenger revenue of TW$480.8 million (US$17.3 million) in November, down 3.7% from TW$499.4 million in October and 29.2% below the TW$679.2 million generated in the same month in 2019. November’s passenger load factor was 17.7%, the lowest since the 14.6% result recorded in February 2021. To illustrate how far EVA Air is from pre-COVID-19 levels, in November 2019 the airline had 1.1 million passengers and booked passenger revenues of TW$8 billion.
