Cebu Pacific boosts frequencies on domestic Manila-Iloilo route

Cebu Pacific, the largest airline in the Philippines has received approval for a third daily nonstop flight between Manila and Iloilo from December 16. Read More » The LCC said the additional flight was scheduled as a 0630 departure from Manila, arriving at Iloilo at 0745. After 35 minutes on the ground, the return service would take off at 0820, arriving in Manila at 0930. Cebu Pacific chief corporate affairs officer, Michael Shau, thanked Iloilo governor, Arthur Defensor Jr., for approving the request to mount extra flights to the city, located on Panay Island about 240nm south of Manila. "This additional daily frequency from Manila will surely contribute to the economy of the province of Iloilo,” Shau said. “We are happy to share that over the past two weeks, 80% of our passengers from Manila to Iloilo are fully vaccinated. This is indeed a positive indicator enabling us to continue working closely with our stakeholders to rebuild everyone's trust and confidence in air travel."
