Hong Kong extends flight bans for eight countries

Hong Kong has extended its ban on all passengers from Australia, Canada, France, India, Pakistan, the Philippines, the UK and the U.S. landing in or transiting through the Special Administrative Region (SAR) until February 4. Read More » The HKSAR government said late last week resuming flights from these eight countries would pose a great risk of imposing the Omicron variant of COVID-19 on Hong Kong. The bans were introduced on January 8 and had been due to end on January 21.
