Qantas Airways seeks termination of cabin crew agreement

Read More » The decision to request a termination of the work contract follows six months of failed negotiations with the Flight Attendants’ Association of Australia (FAAA). "We are seeking termination because we can’t effectively run our business without the rostering changes we desperately need to properly restart our international network in a post-COVID world," Qantas International CEO, Andrew David, said. Long-haul cabin crew recently voted overwhelmingly to reject the new work contract, with 97% of the union membership voting down the proposed agreement. "This is a very disappointing decision and one of which the management should be ashamed," FAAA federal secretary, Teri O'Toole, said.
