Airbus terminates Qatar Airways A321neo order: report

Read More » It cited court arguments in the U.K. in a dispute between the two parties over the Gulf carrier’s order of A350 wide-bodies. "We confirm we did terminate the contract for 50 A321s with Qatar Airways in accordance with our rights," an Airbus spokesperson told Bloomberg. As part of the A350 dispute, Qatar Airways is seeking compensation for A350s that have been grounded by Qatari regulators due to problems including blistered paint, cracked window frames and riveted areas and other issues. Airbus has rejected the complaints.
