GE Aviation said Boeing subsidiary, Aurora Flight Sciences, will supply airplane modification, system integration and flight-testing services for its hybrid electric propulsion system flight tests on board a modified Saab 340B turboprop powered by CT7-9B engines.

Turboprop manufacturer, ATR, has completed ground and flight tests on a 72-600 prototype that included seven flight hours powered by 100% sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) in one engine. The SAF was produced by Neste MY from renewable waste and residues raw materials.

Royal Brunei Airlines has extended its cargo general sales agent (GSA) agreement with ECS Group for another two years. ECS Group has been representing the airline since 2018. Its new contract, which expires on January 31, 2024, covers 26 countries.

Sydney Airport shareholders have approved the A$23.6 billion (US$17 billion) takeover offer from a consortium that includes IFM Investors and Global Infrastructure Partners. More than 96% of vote cast were in favour of the deal. The transaction still requires court approval.
