Before his move to CDB Aviation, Barratt was GECAS senior vice president commercial with responsibility for the full lease transaction lifecycle and the lessor’s business development in the Middle East, Turkey and Africa. A two-decade industry veteran, Barrett began his career at GE Aviation in the U.S. working in technical and sales capacities before taking on the role of regional sales director in Dubai, where he oversaw customer strategies and commercial campaigns for new engine and MRO services sales in the Middle East. Barrett holds an MBA from the University of Cape Town, is a Bachelor of Commerce graduate from the University of South Africa (UNISA) and an FAA licensed airframe and power plant technician.
