In 2021, Boeing sold about US$2 billion in parts via its online e-commerce site. The company said online revenue at Boeing Distribution Inc. last year was 15% higher than pre-COVID-19 levels.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal has awarded Collins Aerospace a contract for providing passenger processing and baggage systems at the country’s three major gateways: Tribhuvan International Airport, Gautam Buddha International Airport and Pokhara International Airport.
ST Engineering has signed an agreement to lease up to five A320 passenger-to-freighter aircraft to Vaayu Group, with the first aircraft to be sub-leased to Kenya-based Astral Aviation.
The Singapore-based company also has announced the extension of a component maintenance-by-the-hour (MBH) contract with South Korea's Jeju Air covering the LCC’s 737NG and 737 MAX fleets.
Separately, it also has secured a MBH contract with Taiwan's China Airlines Group covering China Airlines' A321neo and A330 fleets, as well as the A320neos operated by the group's LCC, Tigerair Taiwan.
