Japan Airlines (JAL) has added flights to Australia, the Philippines and Vietnam in its latest international schedule update. Read More » "The number of flights on the Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City routes will be increased with daily round-trip services on the Hanoi schedule and 10 a week round-trip flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Haneda and Narita," JAL said. "Flights will be added to Manila, Sydney and Melbourne routes." The flag carrier will announce changes to its Seoul schedule at a later date, it said. As a result of the latest update, JAL intends to fly 69% of its normal international network in the final five days of March. The operation rate will then drop to 67%, compared with pre-COVID-19 schedules, in April and May. The April and May services are forecast to be two and three percentage points, respectively, below the operation rate outlined in the oneworld alliance member's February 15 schedule update.
