Taiwan opens border to business travellers, cuts quarantine to seven days

Read More » The Taiwan Centre for Disease Control (CDC) said foreign nationals may apply for a special entry permit to travel to Taiwan for business visits, investment, fulfilment of contractual obligations and employment. In addition, residents from China, Hong Kong and Macao can apply to enter Taiwan to fulfil contractual obligations or as part of internal transfers within multinational enterprises. In a separate announcement, mandatory quarantine for all international arrivals will be cut to seven days, from 10 currently, from March 7.
