Vietjet and Singapore's Changi Airports International (CAI) have established a partnership to develop aviation services at airports in Vietnam. Read More » The companies will cooperate in the research and development at Vietnam’s airports, including green, sustainable and smart infrastructure development projects. “The partnership further expresses our commitment to economic development goals, especially in aviation and sustainable development," Vietjet vice chairman, Dr Nguyen Thanh Hung, said. CAI CEO, Eugene Gan, said the company's expertise and geographical experience in managing airports around the world will "add value to VietJet and related partners in raising development and management standards to optimize airport-related operations". The contract, valued at US$1.5 billion, was signed during the recent visit to Singapore of Vietnam’s president, Nguyen Xuan Phuc.
