Singapore adds countries to vaccinated travel lane scheme

The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) said the Vaccinated Travel Lane scheme (VTL) that allows quarantine-free travel to the Singapore will be expanded to include Greece and Vietnam from March 15 and second destinations in Indonesia and Malaysia, Denpasar and Penang, respectively, from March 16. Importantly, the CAAS will permit all individuals who have been in any of the 27 European Economic Area (EEA) member states for seven consecutive days before travel to Singapore to enter the country without quarantining upon arrival. "As the global COVID-19 situation evolves, the CAAS will continue to monitor the public health situation closely and stand ready to adjust our border measures with the appropriate safeguards quickly to ensure public health and safety," the authority said.
