Bamboo Airways adds third Australian route

Vietnam's Bamboo Airways will launch nonstop Hanoi-Melbourne flights from April 27. The airline plans to fly the route once a week with 787s. Read More » It will be the privately held carrier's third Australian destination alongside Melbourne-Ho Chi Minh City nonstop services that commenced in February and Sydney-Ho Chi Minh City flights from March 30. “With the support and expansive network of Melbourne Airport, we believe our new nonstop service will create favourable conditions for travellers from both countries, contributing to fruitful ties between Vietnam and Australia in trade, commerce, investment, culture and tourism," Bamboo Airways deputy general director, Truong Phuong Thanh, said.
