Qatar Airways Cargo links Hong Kong with São Paulo for Alibaba Group

Qatar Airways Cargo has commenced a once a week 777F freighter service between Hong Kong and São Paulo via Doha on behalf of the Alibaba Group's logistics business, Cainiao Network. Read More » The inaugural flight took off from Hong Kong on March 5 carrying online retail products including beauty and fashion goods, jewellery, watches, appliances, toys and sports equipment. Qatar Airways Cargo chief officer cargo, Guillaume Halleux, said the airline is in a strong position to assist Cainiao given its experience in handling fast moving consumer goods and its established network and trained staff at all three charter touch points. “We are delighted to welcome Cainiao on board," Halleux said.
