Bamboo Airways extends MRO partnership with AFI KLM E&M

Vietnam’s Bamboo Airways has agreed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Air France Industries/KLM Engineering and Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M) that laid the foundations for extensive cooperation, the signatories said. Read More » Currently, AFI KLM E&M conducts maintenance on the carrier's A320, 787 and Embraer aircraft. The MoU outlined the possibility of extending the range of MRO services provided by the European company to engine support for the carrier’s 787 and A320 family fleet and C-check maintenance visits and line maintenance, among other work, the joint statement said. “AFI KLM E&M has proven to be a trusted airline MRO expertise partner with its global footprint, multi-product catalogue, the flexibility of its programs and solutions and responsiveness, which has led us to reiterate confidence in them," Bamboo Airways deputy general director, Mai Dinh Toan, said.

KLM E&M executive vice president, Ton Dortmans, said: “We are proud to be continuing to support the soaring success of Bamboo Airways, a young and dynamic airline that has not let the health crisis hold back its international development."
