EVE Air Mobility has signed a Letter of Intent with Global Crossing Airlines for up to 200 electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft combined with a new partnership to bring forward an ecosystem for urban air mobility (UAM) flights. Additionally, the Embraer subsidiary has formed a consortium of leading UAM organisations and technology firms to develop a concept of operations for flights between Miami International Airport and the Miami Beach Convention Centre.

Specialist in composite repairs for nacelles, radomes and aerostructures, HAECO Composite Services, has completed large scale repairs on a Xiamen Airlines 737 damaged by a severe hailstorm, with the repair teams working from the company’s Fuzhou maintenance base.

On March 1, Pratt & Whitney successfully completed a test of its GTF Advantage engine using 100% sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) at its U.S. West Palm Beach facility. The company is targeting entry into service of its GTF Advantage engine with 100% SAF by 2024.
