Europe’s Neste will deliver 400 million litres of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) in the next five years to DHL Express.
U.S.-based Gevo has signed a five-year contract to supply members of the oneworld airline marketing alliance with up to 757.1 million litres of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) on flights. oneworld said its airlines members expected to use the SAF included Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, British Airways, Finnair, Japan Airlines and Qatar Airways on flights departing California’s Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco and San Jose airports. Deliveries of SAF are planned to commence in 2027.
