Read More » From April 1, Singapore will be open to all vaccinated travellers, the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) has announced. The new framework was unveiled after Singapore’s prime minister, Lee Hsien Loong, declared the country will no longer operate VTLs and will not require passengers fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to test for the virus upon arrival. Daily quotas for passengers into Singapore will be scrapped. Passengers only must show proof of a negative COVID-19 test result taken within two days of departure to Singapore to enter the country, the CAAS said. SIA said: "From April 1, 2022, fully vaccinated travellers on all Singapore Airlines (SIA) and Scoot flights will enjoy quarantine-free entry into Singapore without the need for any on-arrival test. With the reopening of Singapore’s borders, travellers can enter Singapore quarantine-free via the SIA Group network of 97 destinations in 34 countries."
