Bamboo Airways begins Hanoi-London Heathrow flights

Read More » The Vietnam-headquartered carrier's inaugural service, QH23 operated by 787-9 VN-A819, touched down in London on Tuesday evening local time. The aircraft was on the ground overnight at Heathrow before taking off as the reciprocal QH24 service on Wednesday morning, landing in Hanoi the following day. Bamboo Airways CEO, Dang Tat Thang, said the airline was planning to operate 40 international routes by later in 2022 with flights linking Vietnam with destinations in Asia, Australia, Europe and North America. London Heathrow chief commercial officer, Ross Baker, said the airport was delighted to welcome Bamboo Airways to Heathrow.
