Antonov said in a social media post it had set up an international fund to raise money for the revival of its AN-225 Mriya strategic airlift cargo aircraft, which was destroyed at Gostomel Airport during Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has informed Boeing it will be difficult for the air framer to achieve certification for its 737 MAX 10 by year-end 2022, The Seattle Times has reported, citing a letter from the FAA to the aerospace company. The 737 MAX 10 is the longest variant of the MAX line up. Boeing began flight testing of the type in June 2021.
Japanese carrier, Fuji Dream Airlines, has completed a charter flight with an E175 using sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) for the first time, Embraer said in a statement. The flight, on March 16 from Shizuoka to Nagoya, used SAF produced mainly from cooking oil and micro algae, Euglena.
Korean Air has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Institute of Aviation Safety Technology to jointly work on the systems required for safe urban air mobility operations.
