The CEA 737-800, registration B-1791, was flying from Kunming to Guangzhou on March 21 when it suddenly lost altitude and slammed into mountainous terrain in Guanxi. There were no survivors among the 123 passengers and nine crew. The SkyTeam alliance member grounded its fleet of 223 737-800s after the accident.
