Delta Air Lines to increase Los Angeles-Sydney frequency to 10 weekly

Delta Air Lines will add three nonstop flights a week between Los Angeles and Sydney from December 16, lifting the airline’s frequency on the route from daily to 10 a week. Read More » The SkyTeam alliance member said the increased services will offer passengers approximately 50 connection options from Los Angeles throughout the U.S. and Latin America. All flights will be flown with four-class A350-900s in a business, premium economy, extra legroom economy and economy configuration. At present, Delta is serving Sydney without an Australian airline partner after Virgin Australia ended its alliance with the Atlanta-headquartered carrier in favour of a new partnership with United Airlines.
