The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) government has transferred its interest in Hong Kong convention centre, AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE), to Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK). Previously, AWE was jointly owned by the HKSAR government and AAHK.
China-headquartered FL ARI Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering Company has obtained European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EQSA) certification as a Part 145 maintenance organisation. The company is a joint venture between China Aircraft Leasing Group's Aircraft Recycling International (ARI) and Europe-based FL Technics.
Fraport AG has reached an agreement to sell its 24.5% holding in Xi’an Airport's operating company, Xi’an Xianyang International Airport Co, Ltd, to Chang’an Huitong Co Ltd. Valued at 1.11 billion yuan (US$174 million), the deal is expected to close in the second quarter of 2022. Xi'an Airport was Fraport AG's only asset in China.
