Boeing planning to resume 787 deliveries in second half of 2022: report

Boeing has told suppliers and airline customers it intends to resume deliveries of 787 aircraft in the second half of 2022, Reuters news agency has reported, citing three unnamed sources. Read More » The U.S.-headquartered air framer has not delivered a 787 for nine consecutive months as it continues to work through a manufacturing issue with the type. The last 787 delivery was in June 2021. In February this year, the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) withdrew Boeing's authority to issue airworthiness certificates for the type. The Reuters sources said potential resumption of 787 deliveries in the third quarter of 2022 was "realistic". Boeing will announce its latest financial results on April 27.
