Thailand to remove on-arrival tests for international travellers

From May 1, international travellers to Thailand fully vaccinated against COVID-19 will not need to test for COVID-19 on arrival, the country's Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) has announced. Read More » The minimum coverage of a COVID-19 insurance policy also will be reduced from US$20,000 to US$10,000 from the same date. Thailand removed the necessity for pre-departure testing on April 1. The CCSA ruled that unvaccinated visitors with proof of a negative RT-PCR test result within 72 hours of travel to Thailand will no longer have to quarantine on arrival. The Thailand Pass registration system will remain in place.
