Cathay Pacific has appointed Rakesh Raicar as its regional general manager for South Asia, the Middle East and Africa (SAMEA), succeeding Mark Sutch. Read More » Raicar, who started with the Hong Kong carrier in 1992, most recently was the airline's general manager South West Pacific. He will be based in Mumbai. “My journey with Cathay Pacific has been very enriching. Cathay Pacific always has seen SAMEA as an important region in its network for growing our passenger and cargo business," he said.
