Jetstar Asia adding flights to Indonesia network

Singapore-based Jetstar Asia CEO, Bara Pasupathi, said the easing of travel restrictions across the region was encouraging more people to return to the skies. Read More » The Qantas Group LCC this week resumed nonstop flights between Singapore and Surabaya and announced an increase in Singapore-Denpasar services to 14 times weekly and Singapore-Jakarta to five times a week. “The relaxation of Indonesian border requirements and the reintroduction of visa-free travel for ASEAN travellers are restoring consumer confidence and their appetite for air travel," Pasupathi said. “There is significant pent-up demand for flights in and out of Indonesia and we know our customers are eager to snap up our great low fares." Jetstar Asia also is boosting frequencies between Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. "As we continue to ramp up operations, we look forward to announcing more exciting destinations in the coming weeks and months," the CEO said.
