Thai AirAsia reports 48% passenger growth in Q1 2022

Passenger load factor for the March quarter was 73% compared with 66% in the same months in 2021 and 76% in the 2021 December quarter. Passenger numbers had grown due to a strong recovery in travel demand and eased rules that allow foreign visitors to enter Thailand, the carrier said. TAA flew 5.9 million passengers and had a load factor of 90% in the first quarter of 2019.
