China Airlines introduces A321neo on Taipei-Tokyo route

China Airlines (CAL) has started flying its new A321neo between Taipei Songshan and Tokyo Haneda. Read More » The inaugural service flew on Wednesday when flight CI220, operated by A321neo B-18102, took off from Taipei Songshan a little after 0900 local time and landed at Tokyo Haneda about two and a half hours later. The aircraft was on the ground for about two hours before the reciprocal CI221 flight to Taipei. "The new A321neo fleet is scheduled to fly this prime business traveller route every Wednesday and Saturday, providing passengers with the most convenient and comfortable service between Taiwan and Japan," the SkyTeam alliance member said. Passengers on the flight were served special desserts made in partnership with Taiwan-based Le Ruban Pâtisserie to mark the occasion.
