In a market update, ST Engineering said revenue across the group increased 13%, to S$2 billion (US$1.4 billion), in the three months to March 31 from S$1.8 billion in the same months in 2021. The company signed contracts worth S$2.4 billion in the quarter.
Lessor SMBC Aviation Capital, whose owners include Japan-based Sumitomo Corporation and Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group, is in talks to acquire rival Goshawk, a joint venture between Hong Kong-based NWS Holdings Ltd and Chow Tai Fook Enterprises Ltd, media has reported citing unnamed sources familiar with the matter.
