Singapore-based Jetstar Asia said Indonesia's decision to remove pre-departure testing requirements for international visitors entering Indonesia will encourage more travel between Singapore and the archipelago. Read More » “Before the pandemic and travel restrictions [were imposed], Singaporeans ranked as one of the top three nationalities visiting Indonesia every year,” Jetstar Asia CEO, Bara Pasupathi, said. “With 92% of Singaporeans fully vaccinated, this announcement is welcome news. One of the final barriers for cross-border travel between Singapore and Indonesia is removed. This latest relaxation will help restore customer confidence and make international travel to these popular destinations easy and accessible again.” The Qantas Group LCC will increase its schedule from Singapore to Denpasar, Jakarta and Surabaya to 27 flights a week “in the coming weeks”, from 23 services a week.
