Firefly to reinstate Subang-Seletar turboprop flights

Malaysia-based Firefly will resume direct flights between Kuala Lumpur's Subang Airport and Singapore's Seletar Airport from June 13. Read More » The Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) carrier said the twice daily route will be serviced with ATR 72-500 turboprops. “With the opening of Malaysia’s border, Firefly is glad to reconnect communities within Malaysia and to Singapore whether for business, leisure or with loved ones,” Firefly CEO, Philip See, said. Changi Airport Group air hub development managing director, Lim Ching Kiat, said there has been strong travel demand between Singapore and Malaysia since border restrictions were eased. “We are delighted with Firefly’s flight resumption to Seletar Airport, providing more options for passengers travelling between Singapore and Kuala Lumpur,” Lim said.
