SpiceJet postpones earnings report following ransom ware attack

Read More » The airline company was scheduled to release its earnings report for the 12 months to March 31 later today. In a regulatory filing to India's BSE stock exchange, the LCC group said the cyber attack had affected completion of the audit of SpiceJet’s financial accounts. “The company is taking corrective measures with the assistance of cyber experts and authorities,” SpiceJet said. A revised date for the board to review and approve the earnings report will be "communicated shortly", the airline said. Media has reported the attack had been largely contained, but that it did cause delays across the network of the Mumbai-headquartered company.
