China Airlines reports 16% passenger growth in May

Passenger load factor was 22% for the 31 days compared with 20.7% in April and 20.5% in May 2021. Passenger revenue of TW$489 million (US$16.4 million) was recorded for the month, a 0.6% increase from TW$486 million in April. For a comparison with pre-COVID-19 levels, in May 2019, CAL carried 1.3 million passengers, had a passenger load factor of 77.5% and generated TW$7.7 billion in passenger revenue.
