Japan Airlines domestic passengers exceeded two million in May

Japan Airlines (JAL) flew 2.2 million passengers on its domestic network in May, up 19.3%, from 1.8 million passengers carried in April. Read More » The May figure was 157.1% above the 839,666 domestic passengers the Japanese flag carrier transported in the same month in 2021. May also was the first time JAL had carried more than two million domestic passengers a month since the 2.2 million customers it flew in December 2021. Passenger load factor for the 31 days was 55.4% compared with 54.9% in April and 38.1% in May 2021. In May two years ago, the oneworld alliance member flew three million passengers on its domestic network and recorded a passenger load factor of 73.8%.
