Asiana Airlines to operate A380s to Bangkok and Los Angeles

South Korea's Asiana Airlines will fly its A380s on two international routes out of Seoul Incheon due to strong demand. Read More » The Star Alliance member, which has six of the type, will operate seven A380 flights a week between Seoul Incheon and Bangkok Suvarnabhumi starting June 25. From July 23, Asiana's 495-seat superjumbo will fly three times weekly between Seoul and Los Angeles. The U.S. west coast city is the most popular of all its American routes, Asiana said, and added Bangkok was the favoured Southeast Asia destination for South Korean tourists. Both routes recorded passenger load factors above 90% in May, the airline said.
